wow that chart looks like way too much trouble to draw out

anyway, I seem to give people the impression that I don't want to be touched at all by my friends, but I don't mind it and even like stuff like hugging. People also seem surprised when I say I don't mind if they touch my hair.

I've never thought about it to that level of detail? Like, I never thought to myself "wow, I'd really hate it if one of my friends suddenly touched my knee or shin". It's not like people touch me enough for me to have a clear idea of what I'm comfortable with.

For a complete stranger, I'm probably not comfortable being touched at all, even my shoulders would probably bug me. For a lover, probably any part of my body is fine.

level of detail in regards to putting so much effort into it, or in regards to having that much of an opinion on specific areas
The level of detail.

It's at the point where I thought it was software generated.
"level of detail in regards to x or x?" "level of detail."
I think you mean the first one??
hiro's diagram might have autistic levels of detail, but it really isn't unusual for a normie at all

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erogenous_zone

it pretty much corresponds with that article and areas of high nerve density in the (epi)dermis

i meant unusual here

completely changes the meaning of this post

hiro's diagram is about what you'd expect of a normal person receptive to human touch

the only thing strange about it is the level of detail lol

see head/scalp section of wikipedia article

i wish i could find a diagram of sensory receptor density throughout the body but for some reason i simply can't

but here is that same information in text format:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3928539/

and that paper even highlights the particular sensitivity of the forehead specifically:

Quote from: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3928539/The forehead and palm were the most sensitive to touch [...]

The skin sites demonstrating the highest tactile acuity were the forehead and palm [...]
