what is your qualification for a better game? yeah sm4sh has more characters stages features etc but the mechanics of melee are unparalleled. there's a reason that it is still being played like 15 years later

also if you count the hack packs people have made melee is probably more feature rich with compeitively useful things than smash 4 is anyway

not hating on sm4sh it is a fine game but the mechanics don't hold a candle to melee (unless you are a wiener and don't like pressing buttons really fast i guess)
