BUT ANYWAY like i think it's silly that the metroid shooter is a thing, but i dont think they ever went into designing it with the intention of it being a classic metroid title; i think they started with the basis of HEY LETS MAKE A FUTURISTIC MULTIPLAYER SHOOTER ON THE 3DS and then they were like HOW THE FUCK DO WE BRAND THIS and then metroid was the only logical answer they could come up with.

i mean it looks dumb, but rocket league also looks fucking dumb on paper and thats one of, if not my favorite multiplayer games of the past decade so WE'LL SEEEEE
