i have a plane ticket to fly down on the 11th of september (yes i'm flying on 9/11 i know). then we will hopefully leave california on the 13th?? drive should only take three and a half days and that's when taking it pretty easy and only driving for like 9 hours a day at the most

i wouldn't necessarily be opposed to visiting anywhere, but i don't consider it very necessary lol

honestly, it wouldn't take much longer to go off the original course and see you in des moines, david. we could do that.

normally the route would have been more like this, though:



the part of the route passing through north dakota literally goes straight through bismarck so i didn't bother actually marking it on the route even though it is actually a probable stop

landmarks of various sorts. the route i just posted doesn't really go through anything interesting, though. it actually goes right between most of anything interesting and manages to avoid them, lol.

i can easily tweak it though. i mean if we have the time it might be nice to see some stuff, since you haven't really traveled much, right? have you been to yellowstone?
