what is the madoka movies about
the first two movies are a retelling of the TV series

third movie is new stuff that takes place after that, focusing on what Homura does in the new world. There are more specific details out there but I haven't read them.

What is Ghost Trick about? I've heard nothing but god things about it.

Should I play it?

I'm always nervous when it comes to getting new DS games. :(
The gameplay is somewhat puzzle-ish. You control a ghost that can reside inside various items, can jump between items that are close to each other, and can activate some items (like open an umbrella or turn on a light). The protagonist also has the ability to time travel to 5 minutes before the death of any corpse he finds, so the objectives often involve finding a corpse and preventing the death by interacting with the environment.

but it's generally story-driven and I'd say the appeal lies more in story/characters/dialogue/presentation than in the gameplay itself. This game is made by the same developers as Ace Attorney and I'd say this same thing about those games.

Oh, that sounds really good. I'll have to check it out. thumbup;
There's apparently also an iOS port. I imagine this game would be good on a tablet, so if you happen to have an iPad, that's worth considering. But DS might work better than iPhone.

TooB

i think thats funny, cuz ive seen some negative reviews of ghst trick, but then see those same reviewers praise the game on top lists. oh well...

I'm not sure if I even have a "waifu"

I just have a few favorite female characters with a somewhat-uncertain order of preference between them
top is probably currently kurisu
and homura close second

my mal profile lists the others (and Kyon, the only male worth putting in a list of favorite characters)
what about husbandos

Unknown Entity

Dunno if it's been asked, but what ultimately made you decide to go through with the transition from male to female?

Side note: In a way, I can sympathize with you about this. I'll just say I've never really felt male...

I have awful personal memory, so I can't really remember, but trying to guess/extrapolate from what little I do know about myself:

I probably also "never really felt male". Without seriously thinking about it, I found myself trying to "pretend" to be female whenever I could for no apparent reason, mostly online and starting around the time I gained an online presence.

But it's not like I outright acted like a girl as a child. I've always taken everything seriously and was an overly-obedient rule-follower, so if anybody ever told me anything like "You shouldn't do that because you're a boy" I would've simply followed that as a rule without question. I imagine my currently-male gender presentation is a direct result of external reinforcement with little to no influence from actual preference. Apparently at least a few traits I had, like strong aversion to dirtiness and calmness/quietness/kindness were seen by my family as more expected from a girl, although that's extremely stereotypical.

I eventually questioned my tendency to "pretend" to be female a year or two after I started doing so, found out that transsexuality is a thing, and probably was immediately glad to find out that gender transition exists without ever "deciding" to. I was a rather sheltered child who also didn't pay attention to things like gender and sexuality, so I was probably pretty late in realizing transsexuality exists (assumed genderbending was a purely fictional thing from cartoons) and didn't even realize what sex is until even later (around the beginning of high school).
