Idk, on the first day there is an implicit commands that isabelle tells you to do. such as introducing yourself to all the nieghbors and shit. and then there is a point where she asks you if you want to fish or catch bugs and if you dont have the necessary tool she will sell you one or the other for normal store price.

can i tell a spooky scary story about what happened to me in animal crossing: wild world

I got the game in early 2006 and I played online with my e-Pals at the time, particularly with one in particular who would come over to my town and I would go to his

after idk like a week of that whenever we would play together, some punk wearing a mummy mask would show up and start doing silly shit like chopping down trees, messing with stuff in my house, walking through walls, etc. and would run away and not saying anything until causing the connection to die or something
judging by the old chat logs i still have saved, there would be some kind of timer on screen before he did that or something

I had a feeling that my friend had something to do with it because the mummy guy would show up when he said "brb" or something like that, but there were several occasions in which we chased it around together both at his town and mine. He also said the mummy appeared with different getups at other towns he visited but I never saw that personally.

I don't know how hacking in that game really works but it never showed more than 2 people as being in the town and I haven't heard about this kind of thing happening to other people. I no longer talk to that friend or anyone else in that group anymore, so if it was one of them being silly (I know you could seriously fuck up someone's town by hacking but that never happened) I'll never know.

To this day, I haven't played another Animal Crossing game.

Zidone, to this day, the 3DS hasn't been cracked unlike the DS so I doubt you would encounter hacking in New Leaf.
