There's now form2 evolutions of all three new starters. Chespin's looks ridiculous, the other two are nice.
Mega Mewtwo actually has two different forms on X and Y. We saw the Y one before, the new X one gains the fighting-type.

Not a fan of baby Vulpix's evolution.

Frog's is pretty sweet though

Man all the starter evolutions are really disappointing... Was sort ofhoping fennekin would remain a quadraped . Chespin looks like a chestnut... And stupid. All of them look like bad fan art that just makes bigger versions of the first forms without really changing anything or adding anything new.

But I really like the fossil pokemon at least, especially the longneck

two matchups changed that I didn't notice before my post yesterday: although it does resist fairy, steel lost two old resistances to ghost and dark, lowering its resist count to 10 and doubling the number of types that hit steel with regular 1x damage.

The effect of type changes on some existing newly-Fairy pokemon are:

Gardevoir: loses weaknesses to bug and dark, keeps weakness to ghost, and gains weaknesses to poison and steel. Its fighting resistance is boosted from 0.5x to 0.25x, it keeps the psychic resistance, and it gains full dragon immunity.
These changes improve its defense quite a bit, trading its existing weaknesses for less common attack types, gaining an immunity, and having no lost resistances.

Mawile: loses resistance to steel and ghost, loses fighting weakness, bug resistance boosted from 0.5x to 0.25x, dragon resistance boosted from 0.5x to 0x, gains fairy resistance, and keeps two more weaknesses and eight more resistances (including even dark; despite Steel losing that resist, Fairy has it)

Upon closer observation that is not on my phone i suppose fennekins is okay due to the broom detail

Fennekin -> Braixen
Froakie -> Frogadier
Litleo -> Pyroar

Furfrou, the poodle pokemon, has customizable appearance depending on how you groom it, with the hair regrowing to its default condition after a few days.

Meowstic is the new psychic-type cat which has totally different appearance by gender. The site even suggests that the male one is better at double battle support while the female one is better at actually attacking.

Really really want the Sauropod. Refrigerate sounds amazing... A move like headbutt becoming an ice type move? Great stuff. 4xs weakness to fighting kind of hurts though
