I got the game yesterday. I picked Zero as my character for single player, but I'm playing through the game with my girlfriend as Axton and her as Salvador.

My Zero is Lv. 8 and my Axton is 5. Haven't played all that much yet.

Guys, how have you been developing your skill trees?

I've been shoving everything into sniping with my assassin and for my commando I've been shoving most of the points into powering up my turret.

Yep, sniping for assassin

I actually get frustrated with other classes having to compare all of the weapons I pick up. For the assassin I basically just take 2 sniper rifles and then whatever is highest ranking of the other gun types. I tried the gunzerker and hated it... Siren was pretty fun though, I was going down the healing tree

The assassin is my favorite mostly because I enjoy the ridiculous amount of damage you get for crits with the right skills. I rarely use Zer0's ability, tho. I only really use it if a huge enemy shows up or I if I need to re-position. It seems incredibly useful if you bother to upgrade it, tho.
