I kinda like 3/4 just for Effy, but they don't compare to the first two series.

Don't even get me started on that third generation though

most of the characters sucked and the not sucky ones were dragged down by the plot

What's so nice about it? Man spent millennia so that we would not have to live in the wilderness. And now people think it's a cool thing--it's a good way to spend a weekend. As a sort of pastime, with all our mamby-pansy modern equipment. You want woods? Go live with in the Amazon, and be a fucking Bushman. Otherwise embrace your emaciated status in the new world, without camping to distract you from the absurdity of this existence.

we lost our sense of what reality actually is (ie place in the universe) after coming indoors, I think I'd advocate a little camping (modern equipment or not) for anyone.

some time in my life, though, I am going to travel among the Amazonians and learn the secrets of the ages
