major game companies you've largely ignored

I just realized I've never played an Activision game.

also the first major EA title i'll ever play is mass effect 2

And even though I own an original Xbox, I've mostly ignored Microsoft because very few of the things they do interest me.

Well I say Ubisoft, but I played like Assasin's Creed 2 and that was about it. Still for the majority of my life as a gamer I haven't touched an ubisoft game.

I have no idea, I don't much pay attention to the publishers of a game. I hate Activision, but that's about it.

i'm not sure you can count ME2 as an EA game. Bioware made it. EA just publishes it, packages it, and markets it, as far as i know.

as for Activision, they're mostly a publisher as well. probably the biggest thing they ever gave to gaming was developing Pitfall!, as well as publishing the Call of Duty and Guitar Hero series, although not ALL of the games in either series were published by Activision, and of course none of them were actually developed by them

i think DEVELOPERS are a lot more important to give your support to than publishers anyway.
