Boyah you're now a venting centre as I don't vent to others.  cjlubdoods;
You're now more of a boyager to me than you've ever been before sillydood;

Boogus Epirus Aurelius

Call it early onset because theoretically S.A.D. is only supposed to effect people in the later months after really having experienced winter drudge, but I might have a minor case snuggling up against my inner nodes.

Of course, it probably has more to do with other factors that kind of ride in the backseat of my inner me. Itââ,¬â,,¢s nice to have something on the surface to blame.

So this morning I woke up in another gray sludge and missed another class. Getting up at six thirty was never my thing per se, unless it was completely voluntary. Bleh bleh bleh, get dressed, bleh bleh, close my eyes on the sofa and spill a glass of orange juice down my last remaining clean pair of pants as I drift off into post-sleep-pseudo-dreamland which is made up of ugly fragments and that falling sensation that jolts you awake.

I N C E P T I O N

And then, standing up, looking outside at the saturated gray everything and at my dripping pants that originated near the crotchal region and at the string of faded blue christmas lights on my mock mantle under my holographic last supper painting, I started laughing. Laughing at the ugly, motive driven cracking shell that I was wearing and at the hilarity of my faux-misery and the stupidity of my unnecessary whining.

So, I put my financial woes into a special closet somewhere over there and willed away my academic worries and forgot about the holiday bullshit and forced my eyes open and spent the day mindlessly painting and listening to music and I made a stir-fry (with shrimp god damn) for dinner and now Iââ,¬â,,¢m perfectly content and ready to kick tomorrowââ,¬â,,¢s ass out the door.

Tired, but hopeful.

And a tad gassy.

Nothing's going my way right now. I have projects due in two days that I haven't started yet, I have finals next week, I have a boss who doesn't give a shit about any of that, I'm broke, I have almost no free time to do anything anymore, and I put my job in jeopardy yesterday by calling in sick to watch the Jets get raped by the Pats, and it turns out my job wants a doctor's note for that one day. It's gonna be a lot of fun going into work in a couple of hours.

And even with all that burden and stress, I'm not depressed. I've been depressed in the past, so I know what it feels like, but I'm definitely not sad right now. Anxious, yes, maybe even a little angry, but I'm more indifferent than anything. I just want to fast forward to after Christmas.

LCK

I'm genuinely okay. I've got a final in 2 and a half hours, but I'm sitting in a study lounge lurking on Boyah and Facebook. I've accepted the fact that I'm going to fail this final, but I'm thoroughly excited for my schedule next semester. I'm also very excited for winter break which is practically here. Once I'm done with this final today I'm on my way home and won't be coming back until January 9th.

Relaxed.

Frustrated that my girlfriend has slept for basically the entire day... then she wakes up at 8... and now she's back to bed again.

Not her bed, my bed. Argh.
