So I've finally got estrogen pill things. It took 5 years of being able to define myself as trans and 3.5 years wrestling with the medical institutions and its gatekept secrets. I'm not sure whether its a supreme privilege, especially that I can afford the prescription and pray to the gods that I can handle the blood tests, or just a human fucking right that has been a long time coming.

My hair follicles will stop converting from vellus hair and be (generally) more soft and blond. Fat redistribution will occur all over, particularly in the midsection and thighs. Hair will get thinner and then regrow, start to grow faster I believe. Even less facial hair than I have. Gonadal atrophy. Softer skin. Breast development. All good things. This isn't making me a woman or anything. It's just a welcome development in my larger gender.
