Lack of an oxford comma in a sentence absolutely destroys the flow of said sentence, imo.
I agree.

Really, when you're discussing some sort of list, it makes it seem as if the last two items belong together in some sort of relationship (when not using the comma).

It flows better, looks better, and I just overall can't stand lack of usage.

It only flows better if you're expectant of it. Not everyone reads the same.  bassir;

I agree with the oxford comma.
Also, I hate when people don't put things back where they belong. (Wrong video game disc in the game case)

Wrench

Green Day related
I hate it when people spell it "greenday" with no space
I wanna punch a baby whenever I see "Billy Joe" as well

English and Grammar
People not using Oxford commas
"Their, they're, and there" used incorrectly and the like

Random
I refuse to drink pop from a can if the tab is broken off

That reminds me of how much I can't stand to see "Led Zeppelin" misspelled. I don't understand why it's so common for people to spell it as "Led Zepplin."

Also, lol oxford comma.

In French we learn not to use those. maps;

I think everybody should learn to not use them.   n_u

people not using oxford commas

THIS. I mean I try not to push it too hard, but oxford commas really create such a sense of balance for me. But I don't push people on it, I just mark it in red pen.  bassir;

Besides that I try to live and let live.  giggle;

Actually, the only thing that really pisses me off is when people mispronounce meme. I heard mee-mee one and almost hit the guy.

I think so too. They just seem unnecessary.

Can I see an example of the misuse or absence of this comma that's so prevalent?

What I prefer:
During my trip to Europe, I visited France, Germany, Italy and Greece.

Serial comma:
During my trip to Europe, I visited France, Germany, Italy, and Greece.

Thyme

Oh, people saying "is all" instead of "that's all". akudood;

Also, I agree with the principle of the serial comma. It's true that according to the flow of a phrase, how it should be pronounced, there should be a comma there. I just felt like mentioning that here, it's when it is used that it gets "marked in red pen bassir-semicolon". It's actually considered incorrect in French by teachers for some reason.

Oh, that doesn't bother me at all either way

I like Europe's system of using quotation marks and punctuation better than ours too. It makes more sense to be on the outside.
