Atheism isn't a religion.

Correct, which is why I didn't vote. There should just be a 'none' option.

explain how I am not religious but am interested in the ideas (& doctrines) of some religions? There isn't much to say about it to be honest. I read the Bhagavad Gita and then some stuff on Ghandi and was just really impressed with the way these people live their lives. It's really beautiful and minimalistic and they don't mean to hurt anybody/anything. And I also read Be Here Now by Ram Dass and of course there is a lot about Hinduism in that and the guide to spirituality. It's just all really beautiful and I like it a lot, but I don't follow all of it. And I couldn't call myself Hindu.

Except Muslims

But anyway, I understand what you mean about their nonviolence.

There are things I could find if I were to think on it. But why bother thinking on it? there is beauty, I can see it.

Pacifism is moral cowardice. It's just a self-absorbed way for one to feel good about oneself while others are forced to shoulder the burden.

What?  I never considered Atheism or Agnosticism a religion.

I'm not a pacifist but I don't follow that logic at all.

Agnosticism.
Just think of it as the fulcrum between Atheism and Theism. bassir;

what's the difference between cowardice and moral cowardice oh worker of words

I think someone has every right to prefer pacifism, and your assertion that pacifism entails anti-communalism is mostly vacant of sense since the two things have little to do with one another

yeah it's beautiful except for oh the caste oppression and retarded reverence of random animals, worshipping elephant shrines (among other things), and reincarnation doctrine

I'm just trying to troll skylark, so there's really no need to bother refuting what I say.

Of course the caste system is terrible but that's like saying Christianity is bad because of slavery... The Indian people have their problems - everybody does - but Hinduism (in it's pure form) is really amazing. I don't see how the reverence of "random" animals is retarded. Or why it matters if it is. I am not a devout follower of Hinduism and I don't agree with everything that they do or everything that is apart of the religion (reason why I would not consider myself "Hindu") but there many aspects of the religion I can appreciate.
