alright, there are two teams. one is humans, one is zombies. zombies usually start with one or two people, the rest are humans. zombies have increased speed and swords, while humans have almost no radar and a pistol. the zombies want to kill the humans, at which point the killed human becomes a zombie. you want to survive as long as possible.

as for the weekends: Bungie makes a special playlist every weekend from thurday to sunday night where you get double the experience for a win. these range from zombies to huge FFA's to only CTF. it varies.
