Well, of course everyone looks at looks first, but the personality is the main deciding factor.  Looks and no personality is a huge turn-off for me (and I'm assuming a lot of people) because the person could be so much more beautiful if they didn't act like such a douche/bitch/whatever.  So honestly, smart and average is better than hot and retarded.

Also if you want hot cocky guys with a good personality, you'll have to look very very very very very hard.
