I don't think the pledge is even played at all. I don't know because I usually arrive at my first class about a minute before my class begins/I'm considered late, and I hear my school gives out announcements in the morning. The only time I've ever heard the pledge was at some assembly the school had.

at my school we've had

kids shit in a teachers desk because they thought it'd be funny (back when my sister was attending the school so like 6 years ago)

kids recently shitting in the corners of our bathrooms and the administrators having to offer a reward for who did it (i think they actually referred to it as the poop bandit which was amazing)

janitors that would be like dating and stuff and kids would catch them kissing in the hallway (back when my sister was there)

multiple gun threats, fights, and even bomb threats to the point where backpacks would have to be searched before you could enter the school (sisters time there)

recently a kid was expelled for having like 12 guns found in his car

a senior prank where people have dumped crickets over the balcony

at an elementary school i knew of though, they once had a bloodied up dear break into the school and run through it for awhile

and thats all i can really think of.

oh that reminds me, today, apparently, someone threatened another virginia tech in the bathroom again (it's happened every year of my high school career), probably because they wanted the day off tomorrow instead of having finals, so we're all getting our coats and backpacks searched tomorrow. i don't think im going to bring mine to school, maybe just my psych book.

some kid took a shit in the middle of the bathroom floor so that as soon as you entered, if you weren't careful and/or didn't see it, you'd slip

there were nudes of this hideous chick going around in the beginning of this year

and last year, the seniors:

-threw dozens of pages of porn off the balcony on the 2nd floor and it rained upon other students (i found this hilarious and laughed on my way to class and laughed even harder when an administrator said "what's this" and picked up a page)
-had a pillow fight on a staircase
-had fights with various liquids, including a bottle of urine that was thrown all over some chick
