Yeah I have all of them on my que, but I was wanting to see Totoro next.
Then Princess Mononoke, then Castle in the Sky, then I'll go from there.

Castle in the Sky is very weak for what I've heard. Try Howl's Moving Castle, it has Christan Bale.

That was the first one I saw, like right when it came out on video.
It was pretty good, a million times better than Kiki's Delivery Service.

Kiki's Delivery Service is my least favorite.

He is very hit and miss.

yeah, that movie made me realize that.
it really had very little substance and had a lot of random awkward laughing.

Don't get me wrong I didn't dislike it, but I see no reason to watch it again. It was just... fine.

Let the Right One in - It's pretty good, not amazing from what I heard from other people. The ending was quite cute and it wasn't an over the top vampire movie where everything revolves around it being about vampires like most movies of that nature. Just a cute story about two 12-year-olds.

Skylark

I loved Let the Right One In..

But I think Howl's Moving Castle is the best one, then Princess Mononoke, then Castle in the Sky and after that I sort of feel like I am just naming them off. I love them all but Howl's Moving Castle is so fantastic and has a great ending

he probably did because I can see that being said about the dubbed version.

I also don't see Miyazaki as "hit or miss" overall I'd say he's fantastic

yeah, maybe i cold give it another go in japanese, but that won't likely happen for some time

I think for a most part Miyazaki's great but I think he might be an acquired taste for some people.

why

I was expecting a story, not just filler nothingness and random laughing
it was mostly just scenery
