i really wish it were possible to reallocate my perk points because i wasted a lot of them on completely useless perks earlier in the game and now there's some neat ones i'll never get awdood;

even mutant behemoths are much less of a pain than radscorpions are, their weapons generally do a heck of a lot less damage than stupid scorpion claws and stingers smithicide;

It takes one encounter with an albino scorpion to kill my followers. awdood;

granted, you can throw a grenade at them once to cripple their legs and they then become really slow so you can slowly pick them off

unfortunately i don't think you can cripple them via the super-easy crippling dart gun, because it uses radscorpion poison.

Kalahari Inkantation

i actually have been successfully crippling them with the dart gun lol so i guess they're not impervious to their own venom

but they're still such a huge pain to deal with that i may seriously have to invoke my god-given right to mods, i groan every time i see one in the distance

Samus Aran

They're not worth engaging unless you can sneak attack critical them from afar tbh, they take too long to kill otherwise

I usually used the Gauss Rifle to do this. Makes an excellent energy weapon sniper rifle. It's a reward for doing Operation Anchorage.

Kalahari Inkantation

i still haven't actually touched any of the dlc yet lol

should i do it before or after completing the main game y/n

Samus Aran

operation anchorage's rewards are fantastic, so for that reason alone you honestly should've done it ages ago. point lookout is whatever, i don't even like it that much, do it whenever lol. mothership zeta i suggest saving for last between these three because it rules.

broken steel takes place after the main game and is just an extension of the main story

Kalahari Inkantation

whoops

I guess I'll do that next then. dittodood;

Kalahari Inkantation

operation anchorage complete wrench;

now to speed through point lookout

i want to be finished with this game before christman

Samus Aran

enjoy your infinite health winterized power armor wrench;

and your super sneak suit wrench;

and your overpowered gauss rifle wrench;

Kalahari Inkantation

all of which are amazing rewards i intend to keep with me at all times

also, finally crossed the hundred hour mark

also, finished the main quest of point lookout

the gauss rifle and microwave emitter are great but it's too bad they're virtually unrepairable by the player lol, and hunting down merchants who at best can't repair beyond 75% is less than ideal

also lol apparently this is a oversight that bethesda never bothered to fix

it actually isn't indestructible, but it has 10 million hit points

the developers mistakenly placed the simulation version (which is supposed to be indestructible for all intents and purposes like the other sim items) in the armory, as opposed to the standard wasteland version which would have degraded normally

Samus Aran

mothership zeta grants you access to an item that repairs your held weapon, but there's a limited amount of them

i saved them pretty much specifically for repairing the gauss rifle
