Well, I suppose this doesn't matter to someone like me to begin with. I hate the Mac's OS design style, even more with OS X.

the whole Menu Bar always on the top thing or  the brushed steal thing?
Both. I could never manage to figure out the Finder and it just bothered me, and the Brushed Steal thing is puke, too. If it was a bit less brushedy, maybe some more ability to change shit, it might be good for me.

I use Windows, always have, always will. My dad was an HP technician, so I got SOME reason to anyways. He also scored the Pre-final of ME I use, and was pro at networking.
How exactly is the Finder confusing? It's far more organized and the windowing system is far simpler than Windows. Hell, directories even make sense, unlike things like C:/dsfargeg/System32/Cocks. psyduck;

Also, Shapeshifter serves a purpose. Just look at Zack's desktop.

Another thing you can't say is "I use Windows, always have, always will." I love Mac OS X, but who knows? Apple may severely fuck up the next version. I hated Mac Classic, but love OS X. I've always hated Windows, but if they can make a change in their OS's like Apple, it may become decent.

Also, it would be better to go with something like Unix or BSD for servers.

Yeah, unquoting that, Linux is really for the elitists who think they're good at everything. It has no function other than being a simple and secure server OS, with some capabilities of a Mac, but that's it.

I tried installing it on my iPod, Failed miserably
Tried installing it on my PS3, pain
I can't even get it to run in Q

I know, eh?

@Lawlz: Shut up. You're dealing with someone who doesn't think as a normal person, and when you think, Macs were made specifically for those with no mental defects. Why else would I still use Windows? I've been trained to have Windows and keep it running for as long as I need to. I can have it run what I need to, too. That's ALL I NEED.

I don't need graphicking shits. I don't need webbing shits, I just need what I got here.

I just can't really get used to clicking the finder symbol on the dock...It could be though that I'm using a laptop pad thingy and I've only used the Mac 20 or so times  v;
Other than that, I love the F9,10,11 buttons  caterpie;

I'm very used to Windows's interface. When something doesn't work, I can dig into "C:/dsfargeg/System32/Cocks" and fix it. Windows has lots of ways of doing stuff and I find it very easy to find my way around it. Of course, I've had a lot of experience with Windows and I've overcome so many problems -- like a Master Boot record error, a Windows virus, and just simple problems. I think OS X is far too simplified. It's like they tried to hard to make it easy that they just make things that can be manually done harder than they should. I only thing I like about OS X is Exposé, the sexy aqua interface, and those applications that they have that Windows doesn't have a clone of. Of course, if I had a choice between a PC and a Mac; I'd chose Mac.

OS X is simple and Windows is advanced.

Correction: OS X is a simplified complex OS.

Windows isn't necessarily advanced, but it's just overly complex when compared to OS X.

Well, maybe my wording wasn't right but I'm sure Windows is too complex for the average computer user.

Woah, so, what does that say about me, especially since I have no problems whatsoever with windows Millenium Edition?

You know how stupid you sound?
Yes, I suck at operating systems.

Back to the question, of course you can. If you have the processor, enough RAM, the OS X installation disk and stuff then you'll be able to do it. I'm no particular expert on the OSx86 project but you can just read the Wiki and know how to do it. Plus, there are videos on YouTube for inspiration. However, don't be discouraged when you find that you can't get it to install or run the Operating System well. Also, if you're planning on installing OS X on a fucked up computer then don't be surprised that you can't do it; because I'm not sure if you can do it on a fucked up computer or not.

I highly recommend that you do not pirate the OS X installation disk.
Nope, cable company watches us now. Besides, I'd rather spend money on it anyway. If I did want to install OS X on this PC then it's not going to be some stupid patched version.

That's if your american. The internet providers are being forced to tap everything, which kind of blows. This shows the U.S. is slowly becoming a Communist land. in the BAD way.
