No, authenticator won't help you.

The authenticator works when you login.  The exploit takes the session ID generated after you login.

You log into the server and send your username/password and get a session ID back which contains the info about your character.  When you play the game this gets sent back and forth to the server instead of your login credentials.

By spoofing the session ID (I'm not sure if it's sent to the other players in network traffic or some other way) they are sending your ID back to the server which then replies with the details of your character meaning they can now sell your items, delete your hero, trade things and all of that.

It's honestly an extremely basic type of "hacking" and I have no fucking clue how that could have slipped by blizzard. I'm not sure if they are sending stuff unencrypted because you'd think using a public and private key at login and passing the ID encrypted eliminate the issue.

Commander Fuckass

oh.
well nothing has happened to my stuff yet and I hope it stays like this

also Im on Act IV now omg  giggle;

Mine works fine and I have the late 2011 Model

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=895653

As for the 2010 Mode"l Yes the GT 330M will handle SC2 on High just fine. (i know this from beta testing) Diablo 3 however,.... doubtful."

What settings is he using? If he has the same card as me then something other than the power is wrong.  If he's not maybe he needs to adjust the settings (probably post processing, v-sync, or the mouse lag option)

Again, if you want to run a game on Ultra. don't be an idiot and play on a fucking laptop.  Even if the card is powerful enough, running it that high is going to heat the shit out of it which could also cause shitty quality.  My card on my desktop has a fan that blocks the two PCI slots below it just to keep it cool. You can't really fit that onto a laptop.

There is also the issue of it being retarded as fuck to try playing a  game on the highest possible settings on a 13-17 inch screen.
No one who plays SC2 competitively uses anything but low settings on everything.

He still has issues.

Daddy

It's definitely not a hardware compatibility issue. Something must be defective.

the min FPS I get on Diablo III with pretty much everything on high is 30, with the game running in the 30-50 range.

SCII on Low should be no issue at all. If he has apple care I'd suggest he head to to the apple store and make sure nothing is defective.

Do the attacks sometimes lag or something for other people? Sometimes my guy will just do the motion but nothing will happen and then the result of the battle will appear like 20 seconds later

While it's an awesome feeling that you can kill anything in one hit, it really ruins the mood for co-op.

Borderlands is no longer fun with my character when my friend asks me to use him. awdood;
