That's why you DECLAW your cat. If your cat is domesticated it wouldn't need them anyway, it's not inhumane. It doesn't even hurt them.

What the hell does it need to claw inside of a house?! And cats do still "claw" at things even when declawed. Mine does that shit to the wall almost every day. There just isn't any damage.
