What a great fucking mix tape  caterpie;

Has like the first 10 CDs on it, it's an MP3 CD. I'm proud of myself for getting a CD in my car besides Borknagar.

Samus Aran

um how

That many tracks should far surpass the usual 80 minute limit.

He burned it as an MP3 CD and not an Audio CD, allowing him to store a lot more songs.

Limits you to 700mb which is a huge amount instead of the 80 minutes.

I got their first 12 albums on 1 CD leaving the rest of their albums for another CD. Their first ones are better in my opinion anyways.

The only hitch is that the sound quality blows.
I laughed.

Seriously, I'm not audiophile and I don't notice any difference and I doubt you would either. I don't care really. And I'd much rather listen to 80+ songs in a little worse quality then listen to 12 songs at "great" quality.

Anyways have you tried it yourself and noticed a difference?

I'm not an audiophile either, and I can tell the difference. Maybe it sounds fine if you're just listening to it casually, but if you're really listening to it closely and appreciating it as a work of art, you should be able to hear the difference.

And I believe in quality over quantity.

If only any of my devices played MP3 cds

You can get a CD player for less than 30$ that will.

If you didn't put the All The World's a Stage album on it, you fail at life.

I skipped the live tracks because I never really listen to live albums.

If I get an iPod I'll check it out

Yes.
Fair enough, I don't notice any difference and I don't plan on trying to because that'd be awful if I couldn't stand the MP3 CDs. I listen to some poor quality-recorded bands anyways so I must not be anywhere near an audiophile. All I like is decent sounding sound at a large volume (depends on the band but usually the louder the better for me.)

DEFINITELY listen to All The World's a Stage. Really good album, Rush rules live.

Oh and just to rub things into people's faces. I got Rush's first album on vinyl.
