why do you insult yourself at every opportunity

I would bet you about 20 percent or less Americans know what the hell Linux is, never mind used it. I would bet you that about 90 to 100 percent of Americans are familiar with and have tried "osx".

Firefox is made for OS X. Mozilla heavily supports OS X. Stop being an idiot.
I'm willing to bet only about half of Americans that know what a computer is have seen OS X. I'd bet about 70% have heard of Macs or know that Apple makes computers, but I doubt very few of them have ever seen one, much less used it. Many, many Americans think that everything just runs Microsoft (since many don't even know what the hell Windows is) and the only difference is a logo--the only thing that separates cheap clothes from expensive ones, and is assumed to do the same for computers and other products. If you would show a Mac to your average American, they'd just ask why they can't use Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player on it.

Also, Mozilla is completely and utterly retarded when it comes to working with Macs. The Camino clan somewhat knows their ways around OS X, but the main Mozilla group knows jack shit and it's obvious in Firefox and all those other half assed apps.

No.

Thunderbird kicks mail.app's ass any day of the week. Honestly. Thunderbird is the only Mail app I would ever use, and it's great for OS X.

Your post was irrelevant. Reaper, who I can't imagine was ever thought to be intelligent here, claimed that Firefox isn't good for OS X because people cared more about Linux than OS X. I would highly recommend reading a post before rambling on about absolutely nothing.

No, not really. You said 90% of Americans know of or have used OS X, and that's far from the truth.

Macs are present in a lot of schools. A lot of them don't have OS X installed, but a Mac is a Mac.

But most schools use Windows, and most Americans aren't students.

You're an idiot. psyduck;

Colorado Springs, Colorado used solely Windows. Albany, New York used solely Windows. Newport, Pennsylvania used solely Windows. Clarksville, Tennessee used both OS X and Windows, but is now switching over to Windows alone since new teachers are whining about them.

or at least make it work to some degree like how the camino team implemented native os x apis and all that bologna

at least it beats idiots saying how they need a half assed ftp plugin for a half assed browser because squeezing a mouse or hitting control+right is too hard to use a real ftp client

advantages of firefox: hay i have this spell check plugin and open source which really means jack shit to the average user but i always cite it as an advantage because source code is fun to peruse what the hell is int and float :|

Um, no. You are a retard for thinking that. Just because it's open source doesn't mean that you must know how to code. That is why Firefox extensions exist; to allow your average user to take advantage of the open source capabilities (and not have to learn how to program).
