Okay, so here we have the subtitled version of Naruto. Thankfully, I didn't have to deal with the voices in one of the worst dubs I've ever seen. But does that mean I liked it? Uh, no.

As soon as the damn clip starts, it looks like DBZ. It sounds like DBZ, and if DBZ had a smell, I'm sure it'd smell like it to. Wow.

Here we see the classic "omg hez powerin up i better brace myself cuz of the POWAH" scene that every anime I hate features. How wonderfully generic and unoriginal.


Now we get a close-up of Sasuke. Wait, that's it? He looks a bit...bland. Why do the character models in this anime suck so bad? They're either really fucking weird or really fucking bland.


OH LAWD IT'S VOLDEMORT CROSSED WITH A CAT


Okay, now that we're done with those horrors, a mildly entertaining fight scene begins. Even I have to admit that the fighting (or at least, this scene) is choreographed better than a lot of other animes. It's sort of like taking out all the weird stand-still fight moments and weird black-out white slash marks and such, and leaving all the good stuff. Too bad it's really short and um...cut off by a weird dying cat wail from our friend Naruto.

I guess that's all Shonen (lol) Jump is capable of bringing about. I'm sorry man, but there just isn't anything unique about this anime. Even Bleach is more original, as well as more disgusting (z cup tits).

Well, in certain episodes that have a lot of action they use a slightly different art style, and they do make the characters look really weird.

Also, the manga is better.
