i imagine like most japanese live-action films they didn't exactly bother doing a phenomenal dubbing job

but i really dont know cause i've never watched the dubbed version

also don't bother with the sequel

yeah but i don't understand why people liked it so much. Too much dialogue, all of it cliche. Special effects were nice?

watched Tokyo Godfathers that was a good movie. kind of glad it wasn't as cerebral as some of satoshi kon's other stuff (tho im sure there are extra levels if you were to dig deeper)

dude how, the ending was great, i love the lesson it teaches to kids
also saw elysium last weekend, was pretty good but not amazing, 5/7
just saw the world's end, which was ridiculous and funny. ending was so silly. 5/7 as well

its definitely a nice break from his other movies, it's nice that he's got something different like that. but his other movies are still better imo (and paranoia agent is too)
