I have FFVII at my gamestop for 12 bucks  caterpie;

I'm buying the remake. It was already announced wasn't it?

No, Square Enix has just been hinting at a remake, but they've been publicly stating that they're not remaking it.  But the secret ending in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII seems to suggest that they are making it... I hope they are.

Funny you mentioned that, I payed 10 bucks for it brand new just 2 years ago. caterpie;

Although I'd love to see a FF VII remake, I wouldn't pay $700 for a game I already have.

And before some dumbass says "PS3 is only $600 |:", I'm taking into account the tax and the price of the game here.

Game is $50, taxes are $50 but PS3 is only ~$400 if you buy it from eBay. No one wants them. No taxes if you bought from eBay too.

If It had a real time combat system based of KH2 you better believe it.

other wise, if it was really nothing more then a graphical revamp I wouldn't even consider it...it's the weakest 3-d final fantasy IMO.
