We only have like a billion tornado watches every year.

We don't get tornado warnings in our county too often though. And even less often does one actually touch down here in town. The last time I can remember actually being in a tornado was when touched down in town, ripped apart a church, and then died out. All within a few minutes. Only the church and some trees around it were damaged at all.

We get the occasional tornado watch, but tornadoes never come near Austin because it's surrounded by hills or something..

it's good to know that if a tsunami hits the northeast you blue-collar bastards will take the brunt of it

Really? I distinctly remember living in a gated community in Austin and getting tornado warnings constantly.

I get frequent tornado watches and warning during the spring and summertime. Nothing ever happens though.
I just don't really care anymore.

I get one from time to time. But it never touches in my county. The worse things that happened was Hurricane Charlie, which knocked over some trees, power poles, and roof shingles.

I've been in watches and warnings countless times. I live in "Tornado Valley" so saying theres a possibility of a tornado is like saying theres a possibility of the sun coming up today.
