Piranha Plant is probably the most refreshing character to me- has a bunch of personality, too.

Anyway- now that some people got to demo the game- I can say for sure- for the current demo build being played on, that Luigi seems like complete dogshit- I'm actually sad.

Though...Duck Hunt...lmao you can fucking hit the can mid-air (previously to set up the twist can [twist can is when you hit the can from the opposite direction of its initial direction and make it go backwards...I hope I'm explaining it kinda clear] you had to wait for it to land and then bair/nair/etc. behind it).  I am looking forward to playing Duck Hunt, holy shit.  Knockback on can is actually better than I thought previously.

Marth and Duck Hunt seem alright...I'm still gonna rep Luigi though.  He's been my main for a long time.

when incineroar was revealed i wasn't even sure it was a pokemon, its name is the only pokemonish thing about it

design-wise, incineroar is to tony the tiger as shadow is to sonic, except way bulkier than tony the tiger so it ends up looking more like a guy in a fursuit

it's not the realistic fur that bothers me so much, donkey kong and fox have pretty realistic looking fur these days too

also that belt is simply turrible

Yeah, this appearance fits Ridley. It wouldn't make sense to simplify his design. This appearance also roughly matches the way he looks in Brawl and SSB4, though Melee had a simpler and brighter design that was nonetheless trying to be grotesque.
