I don't know that I've mentioned this before but my dad is a truck driver in the oil field and when gas is low, he doesn't work

on the other hand, now the market price of oil is even more absurdly incongruent with the reality of its true value than it has been since, like, the bush era smithicide;

even at $4/gallon, gas is severely underpriced

even at $8/gallon, gas is severely underpriced

oil is practically invaluable and painfully finite and we just gleefully irreversibly burn it for such frivolous reasons >.<

I paid $5.50/gallon yesterday. It cost me over $80 to fill a 16 gallon tank. smithicide;

yet even at these prices this miraculous resource remains tremendously undervalued

my local price is about 185 pence per litre which is somewhere around $8.50 i think, i'm always shocked by how cheap the fuel is over there
