so far i think the F2P paradigms in this game are much less egregious than a lot of other mobile games, but we'll see how things progress. i felt that way about pokemon shuffle too until i got far enough that it basically became impossible to progress without paid bonuses lol

i feel like they scaled down the strategic elements to bite sized maps really well, i was skeptical but this is really fun. as you go on things do require a bit of strategy if you want to make it out w/ all your exp and the skills add a lot of depth to the otherwise dumbed down mechanics. presentation is top notch too, i love the character art.

i p. much agree with all this though I do think I'm going to hit a wall eventually

rolling for characters and combining and all that is dumb phone game stuff I've done before so now it's trite

yeah i think those people constantly rerolling for better characters are dumb
