It's only the opening track but the album sounds pretty promising so far.

EDIT: either the second track cuts off in the most abrupt fashion I've ever heard or something weird happened when I downloaded it.

I just finished the album and yeah it's pretty good I would recommend it.

Sufjan Stevens - "Enjoy Your Rabbit"

The album feels like a bunch of very stationary, reflective, rhythm and noise-driven reflections on various emotions. It doesn't develop amazingly, and Sufjan's legendary songwriting isn't really in play here; there's more musing. Like, "Year of the Boar" is 3.5 minutes of shifting mad fucking intensity with some subtle structuring and movement, eventually resolving the main rhythm pattern to something more major and moving on. But the sound is so good, and the pictures of the years so nice...I love it.
