also kaz judas priest isn't really thrash even though most of the stuff on painkiller comes close. stuff like early metallica, testament, exodus, early megadeth, slayer - that's thrash.

I know, but I think it was at least a pretty good attempt at thrash for them. If you ask me, it sounds better than most actual "thrash" anyway.
