Acid Rain is by Liquid Tension Experiment, which is an entirely instrumental side-project of the guitarist, keyboardist, and drummer from Dream Theater, with Tony Levin on bass. So it may as well be Dream Theater, but it isn't. Although, I believe there's a shorter live version of it that should be labeled as Dream Theater.

So if the song's about 6 and a half minutes, it's Liquid Tension Experiment, if it's about 2 and a half minutes, it's Dream Theater.

As far as I have heard, there is no musical value to be found in any layer of death metal. The guitar, bass, and drums all sound like obnoxious pounding and give me the sensation of a brick bouncing around in my skull.
