Unintentional comedy at its finest. The original is one of the best songs ever, though.

Yes, it was quite lol-worthy.

Thanks for reminding me, I still haven't listened to my Verve CDs yet.

All I have is Urban Hymns.

"Ten Years Gone" by Led Zeppelin

Been my favorite song for about a year now. At this rate, it's always going to be. y;

Physical Graffiti has always bee my favorite Led Zeppelin album. It showcases Jimmy Page's production skills well.

As a whole, I still like Houses of the Holy more, but Physical Graffiti is a very, very close second. Their debut album would be third. I don't know about the order from that point on.

Of course all of Led Zeppelin's albums up through Physical Graffiti are awesome. One great thing about 'em is that they're all different.

I think In Through the Out Door is actually pretty good too. Coda and Presence have some good tunes, but mostly blow.

"Tangerine" by Led Zeppelin

Am I crazy for prefering III over II? caterpie;

Presence has sweet album art, though.

No, not at all. II is only more popular because of all the kids who are like ALRIGHT CLASSIC RAWK rock BUT ACOUSTIC GUITARS IS TEH GAYZORZ

Yes, Presence looks beautiful.

And oh god, I hate that. "ALRIGHT YEAH HEARTBREAKER WOO LISTEN TO THAT SOLO"

"The Lemon Song" is one of my least favorite Zepp songs, as are "Moby Dick." "Ramble On" is also only mediocre at best compared to some of their other work.

But god, III has so much beautiful work it makes me cry. That of course excludes Roy Harper, and I'm not all that fond of "That's the Way," but everything else is perfect.

"Since I've Been Loving You" by Led Zeppelin

Some of their best work ever.

It has a classic JPJ bass line.

I'm not saying II is bad album, I'm just saying III is unfairly overlooked.

Indeed. Of course, let's not forget their first album. Very bluesy, but tastefully so.

Ugh, Whole Lotta Love is one of the few songs I honestly think is too long.

Okay, true. It's a good song, it's just not exactly one of my favorites by them.

Oh, agreed, definitely. I still think it's a great album. I just really hate how overlooked III is. It drives me batshit insane.

Oh god, yes. Their debut album is almost perfect. Page really shines in "Good Times, Bad Times" and "I Can't Quit You Baby." And let's not forget the now legendary basswork in "Dazed and Confused." Really just an overall solid blues rock album.

"Echoes" by Pink Floyd

This song scared the shit out of me the first time I listened to it and got to the "whale singing" part about 11 or so minutes in.

Speaking of overlooked albums, Meddle is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums. Plus, I always get indie cred for mentioning it in record stores.

It's one of my favorites as well. Beats The Wall, that's for sure.
