Nigga please. akudood;

Oracular Spectacular is so much better.
that's because you're a little kid and you like mediocre pop music

I would say Oracular Spectacular is much catchier and Congratulations is more experimental and polished. Like OS was meant to grab people's attention and then Congratulations was more personally expressive once they had caught an audience's ear.

But I know nothing anyway, it's speculation n_u
i would say they're equally polished but more or less yes
oracular is their popular "fun" album and Congratulations is their cool weird album

good psych rock does exist

the problem is that 99.9384053% of bands try to emulate 60s bands and it all sounds like the same shit

but when you find good psych rock, it's really good

snoorkel

13th Floor Elevators are the only really great classic (american) psychedelic rock band I can think of

I haven't downloaded anything new in a couple weeks and it's gettingbad

Thyme

i'd prefer something more recent awdood;

sun city girls
a mountain of one (this band sucks lmao)
magic lantern
lumerians
forest swords
electric moon
the machine

there's other cool bands but i don't listen to them

I don't think "psychedelic rock" really exists anymore, at least not as a specific thing like it used to ..
