Has it ever happened to? A game you think is so stupid and pointless, you though it would bomb?

Chibi-Robo is my favorite game. Before I bought it, I thought it was a dumb idea. I thought it was idiotic, pointless and Nintendo had lost it. 

But it turned out to be my favorite game.  awesome;

I hated Super Mario RPG and Earthbound as a wee loli. Then when I rented them again, I loved them both.

Actually, I thought all all FF games were lame until I got FF3 for my DS Lite and I ended up perfectly finishing everything in the game but getting 99 in all the jobs. I played over 100hrs in that game.
