i mean my ps3 is in the basement there isnt really a way to plug it up in here.

also somehow i fucked up and can't directly access the router settings through that generic ip goowan

three options:
1) do a hard reset of your router (either hold the power button for like 10 seconds or there is probably one of those tiny rest buttons on it somewhere) and see if that does anything
2) put the ps3 in a room with ethernet access
3) get a freakishly long ethernet cable

at home we used to live next door to our uncle and we had a cable that was like 300 feet long so it went from the router in my uncle's back porch, along the trim of his roof, across the space between houses, along the trim of our roof,  down the side of the back of the house, through a hole we drilled into the house for it, and into our router 5thgrade;
