Boogus Epirus Aurelius

You'll hear this and want to listen to this the rest of the night in the background and wish it went on forever.

That's fine, I just don't believe in gaining experience by copying off another's journey.

I look at music and literature the same, I just pull as much toward me as possible in an effort to listen to it all before I die. so the value in following a particular individual's taste is to see how the collection (of ideas or genres or artists whatever it may be) compares with other veins of taste, not just to copy their style goowan

Fair enough. I approve your request to sail toward a New World.

silvertone

Listen to France Gall, and then after listening to Baby Pop listen to Serge Gainsbourg.

since no one has mentioned it, here is some Really Good hip-hop, because actually anyone can like hip-hop (skip 20-30 seconds in if you're impatient) (I picked short ones on purpose so go ahead and listen to most of them)

I have a really long winded story behind when I heard this song for the first time, but that might be for another night.

Guy's got a cool voice.

This guy's hilarious and entertaining to listen to. Sort of bob dylan's voice with art garfunkel's brother's songwriting and a preschooler writing the lyrics.

Regardless, I like this song.

Really David, that was your contribution. Even though I have a soft spot for this song and Common's remote line. I remember listening to this over the Atlantic circa spring of 07. Fond memories.
