would it be worth it 2 watch the pokemons origins stuff

Samus Aran

it's not great or anything but it's pretty good, and it's a nice bit of nostalgia

i wish they would actually do a full series about red's exploits instead of just this 4 episode ova

i say give it a shot, david. just be aware it's a very short adaptation and thus skips over most things very quickly.

that's unfortunate.  i'm looking it up, wow the episodes could at least be an hour long a piece or something.  smh :(

Samus Aran

yeah, they could at least be longer. i'm hoping that this is maybe something they're doing to see how interested people would be in a full adaptation, but i kinda doubt they'd go through with it tbh

it may have been little more than something to coincide with x/y's release, since x/y has a serious boner for red/blue (kanto starters, mewtwo, the original legendary birds, etc.). plus i think it has mega charizard x in it. so yeah, x/y advertisement.

I don't know why I keep watching Cowboy Bebop when every episode is depressing. awdood;
because it's an amazing show

i'd call it "bittersweet" rather than depressing

it's just got very well-thought-out characters and a lot of tragedy but something is usually gained by the end of an episode as well (with some notable exceptions)

the fact that the directing is absolutely flawless probably helps too
