Super Mario Bros 3DS -- who would have guessed?

surprise surprise, a legit mario title (paper mario and mario kart are legit, but i mean a true platforming/sidescroller not an rpg or racer) is coming to the 3ds 

we all knew it was coming, but its good to see that it will be coming sooner rather than later.

now my theory is that this will not be a sidescroller, because i recall hearing miyamoto say something about a great benefit of 3D would be that you could see the depth of the game better and not miss hitting ? blocks because you think you're under it but you're actually 3 feet behind it. and you would not have this issue in a side scroller... but theres also rumors that its a super mario world remake. new super mario world sounds sexy to me too. one thing we all know is that this game will be awesome and i cant wait to play it. too bad until then (or whenever the other 1st party games come out) i will be playing an empty 3ds wishing i had a decent game for it
