PC has been turned into console.
No more Punkbuster, it will have VAC
There will be private matches possible, but no type of promod.
It will make servers and games uniform across the board setup and rule-wise.
How many players on a server is unconfirmed.

It looks fun but honestly the only real reason I have for buying it is that nobody's going to be playing CoD4 anymore. Seems like a Madden-esque update to be honest.

They had a much bigger update between this game and CoD4 than between CoDWaW and CoD4. A lot of the multiplayer class and rank mechanics are changed. I guess campaign will be the same: . Then there's Spec Ops which is completely new.

So I don't see how it's only a "Madden-esque update".

No it's not, it's better on the PC.

Yeah, makes it perfectly okay to take out dedicated servers, mods, custom maps, and the same price as console games even though it's downloadable. They did a dick move, game is good, but they're dicks.

How did I miss this post. There is no shooter I can think of that's better as a console shooter. Shooters, at least first person shooters, almost always work better on PC. Call of Duty is no exception. IW is just foolishly trying to push the franchise over to consoles. I play on 360, but I still realize it's an awful decision.
