Saw MGMT last Tuesday.  They played a damn good show.
after i'm gone your earth will be free to live out its miserable span of existence, as one of my satelites, and that's how it's going to be.

Thao and Mirah are really really fun to see live.

They are very energetic and joke around a lot.  :3 They also had trivia halfway through their set so the band could take a short break since it was like a 2 hour set. They gave out awesome prizes  n_u like animal soup or led guitar wristbands.

Their '08 tour was of Arm's Way, which was also a pretty sucky album, so I don't blame you. I probably couldn't have enjoyed the two of their shows I'd seen without listening to their records a lot.

Holy crap. This concert was AWESOME. Before this show, I never heard of Cinderella, but they were really good. And, as expected, The Scorpions were amazing. Definitely worthy of being my first concert since Green Day.

Apparently Webster Hall is unbelievably strict with their ID checks. So I'm likely not going to the Titus Andronicus show.

But I found out they're doing a show in New Jersey, all ages, in a tiny venue that's only 45 minutes from me. baddood;
