How anyone could announce a dislike for a system that has 1,700+ games for it.

Thats like saying 1,700 games I've never tried suck. And that number, 1,700, is for the PS2 only, not the PS1.

I said "large, diverse", not one or the other.

Also, I don't see how any of the current consoles this generation are diverse. A large majority of the hyped up games for the PS3 are FPS (Killzone 2, Resistance 2), racing titles (Gran Turismo 4), JRPGs, or multiplatform titles. Same as the 360.

The only thing that is really different in the PS3's 2008 line up is Little Big Planet. The same thing goes for it's current line up, the big titles are platformers (Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank), racing (Motorstorm), or multiplatform.

So, I don't see where you're going with this as all three platforms lack diversity and a big game library.

That's not to say I won't pick up a PS3 when MGS4 comes out. Day one, bitches.

NMH I shall get it eventually, but waiting for a price drop sounds like a good idea. I'm a huge fan of Suda 51 though.

Umm, I heard it was a hit or miss type of game. Some people liked it, some didn't. I also heard it was difficult, but I could have things completely backwords since I haven't really been keeping up with games all too much.

Absolutely disgusting. Some claimed it was going to be so great it would be like a sequel to Earthbound, but I hated all of it.
