I doubt the source is too reliable but yeah....

Anyone have any hope for PS3?

Wrench

Don't know if that's completely accurate.

I think the PS3 still has a good chance if they take a huge price drop. The system is actually really cool plus free online.
Meaning minus friend codes too.

UnagiPower

The PS3 actually isn't a bad system, it's just that it costs a lot more compared to an Xbox 360 which essentially gives the same experience(minus the uncomfortable sixaxis crap)

Also the games on the PS3 right now aren't up to par with the other consoles

Silverhawk79

I personally think the Sixaxis is what's killing it right now. It just doesn't seem all that practical for normal games. =/

Call me when Sony gets some good games. Lair and a sequel to Killzone sure as hell wont sell me a system.

And the only thing they've actually done to "future proof" the system is add Blu-Ray. The PS3's graphics will be as outdated as the PS1's graphics are now in 10 years, hell we may not even need Blu Ray in 10 years,

It's just Sony PR bullshit.
