I used to hate UN Squadron so I just decided to play it again.

I hate it even more and I don't understand why everyone calls it the best shmup ever.

but then again the people that say that also think gradius is amazing so i guess they're just retarded

I bought Jaws, Deadly Towers, and Strider for NES. It was buy two get one free at Play and Trade and they were all 99 cents.

i think the only movie-based NES game that's actually good is Batman. solid platforming, good difficulty, good music.

Batman is pretty damn good.

I made it about halfway through the game but then the difficulty ramped up to impossible.

i got to the last level but it requires you to do some nearly impossible wall jumping around spikes so yeah, i never finished the game either.

it's better than gradius by far, but the collision detection seems to suck ass

and no it's not as good as it looks but i kind of like its weapon system

You should try the Xbox or PS2 versions. They are fun.

Just Purchased: Left 4 Dead 2, Virtua Fighter 5. Also bought Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath but to my luck the 360 backward compatibility list isn't updated with it. No big deal, I can buy an original Xbox which I would love to mod.

Currently playing: Lost Odyssey. Also doing a group run of Castle Crashers with new characters
