So, I just picked up a gamecube-compatible Wii for $20.

Granted, its missing the sensor bar and any controllers, but since I have those still from Wii u, its not an issue.

I might try to hack my wii...

and that its much cheaper as an hd capable gamecube

basically the only thing the gamecube has over the wii hardware-wise is the gameboy  player lol

I got a copy of Wii sports for free lol.

I can now play nes, snes, genesis, n64, and supposedly ps1 games. Gotta test that last one still.
