yeah that's like the hardest boss in the game lol

it doesn't help that i hadn't found the shield when i first encountered them lol

this game is merciless

Honestly, once you beat them, most of the rest of the game is a cakewalk because Alucard starts getting seriously overpowered. There are still a couple rough spots here and there but that beginning boss is probably the hardest cause they throw it at you before you have a chance to level much or find good equipment.

yeah it's the easiest platinum ever lol

i still haven't done so yet though cause i don't want to spoil any of the story for me that i haven't read yet

i used the stopwatch item on the doppelganger boss while he was mid-jump and killed him before he ever had a chance to hit the ground lol

i felt so bad that i reloaded the game to fight him legitimately

the stopwatch seems like such a broken item lol

i've poured like 600 hours total into that game and like 200 into its sequel

both fantastic, good decision

The ps1 one is good but I'd like to play the vita version
