that's what credits usually are in games. either that or chances to keep going upon game over. idk what else you'd think they would be. arcade games were a thing once, remember?

i have never set foot in an arcade lol

they had been long dead here before i was old enough to have developed an interest in gaming

but panzer dragoon was indeed designed to be an arcadey shooter and in traditional arcade fashion, loss of all "credits", or allowing the continue countdown timer to run out, or any other failure to finish the game in one sitting means the player must begin from chapter one again lol
