you shouldn't. they take place after zero mission, because zero mission is a remake of the original metroid.

timeline for the good metroid games goes:

I'm planning to finish Pokemon Silver soon- but I think the grinding will take pretty long.  I have about two weeks until my break is over with.  

I finished SoulSilver...and noticed that...the highest leveled were like 35-40 in the wild?

i've never played an actual gen 2 game, and i always wanted to when i was younger but couldn't afford it.  i've only played it a few times when my cousin had it but that's it

anyway im going to bed, night

had to resort to summoning solaire and some random dude to beat pikachu and snorlax like the big wussy i am

i don't know whether it's intentional or not (i guess some aspects are and some aren't), but womb raider (1996) has an extremely creepy atmosphere

half of it because there's generally no ambient noise or background music whatsoever, it's completely desolate and perfectly silent aside from your own footsteps, and the only time any other sounds are heard or music begins to play is when something is trying to kill you

and half of it because of the befuddling inefficiency and inaccuracy of the controls, which makes it unreasonably difficult to make swift movements or focus on an enemy in a realistic amount of time which creates artificial vulnerability

it takes like two whole seconds to make a 180 degree turn, i'm doomed if something comes up from behind

i fully expected the controls to be horrible, but i never would have guessed that it was such an eerie game
